Obituary for Everett Keener. The Mountain Statesman. Grafton, WV. Aug. 9, 1984. Abstract--age 95, of Pruntytown, died Aug. 6, 1984, at the Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Taylor Co., onn Sept. 12, 1888, s/o the late George E. and Sarah Lambert Keener. His wife the late Kathryn Vincent Keener preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 1968. He is survived by one son, Everett Lee Keener, Monroeville, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Brown, Grafton; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Sharp, Kingmont, WV; and two grandsons, William T. and Robert S. Brown. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Earl, Smith and Dallas Keener; and three sisters, Nina Wagner, Dessie Hall and Zella Shaw. He was a self-employed store owner and service station proprioter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW I.
