RAYMOND'S parents were JOHN WESLEY AND DOLPH "DOLPHIE" GRAHAM BURNS. He had one brother MELVIN EUGENE and 3 sister's HAZEL NELL ,LOIS AND MELBA RUTH. RAYMOND was married to MARY JOSEPHINE VIALE BURNS FOR 46 years. THEY MARRIED MAY 10,1941 IN EUREKA, cALIFORNIA They had TWO children JANET RUTH AND RAYMOND SIDNEY JR. After her death RAYMOND remarried to HELEN BURNS. He was a graduate of STRONG CITY, ROGER MILLS COUNTY, OKLAHOMA HIGH SCHOOL. He served in the Army in NORTH AFRICA during WWII. He was a TEC 4 US Army RAYMOND operated a fuel and heating oil business in HOOPA and FORTUNA for many years. He enjoyed flying his private plane, playing golf and hunting Abalone. He was a long time member of the First Christian Church of Eureka.
