Bio
Dolphie Graham was born July 30, 1897 to William Benjamin and Anna Lavilla Graham at Bailey, Oklahoma, and departed from this life on September 1, 1975 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. At the age of 78 years 1 month and 1 day. She was married to John Wesley Burns on October 17, 1915, who preceded her in death. To this union were born 5 children, two boys, Melvin who resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Raymond, who resides in Eureka, Califonria, three daughters, Hazel who preceded her in death, Lois who resides in Milwaukee, Oregon and Melba Ruth in the Strong City-Cheyenne area. She has two surviving sister's Nell Yeaman and Merle Hervey who resides in Oklahoma City, and one brother Halbert Graham of El Paso, Texas. Also eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family moved to Colorado for a short time and came to Roger Mills County in 1921 and resided until her death. She was saved at an early age and remained faithful to the Lord. She worked in the Church and the Community as long as her health permitted. Burial was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
