Bio

Son of Wayne & Maude (Lloyd) Evans. Grew up on the farm, attended Round Grove country school, graduated from Mason City High School in 1954; worked in the Sandhills Military: U.S. Army, 1956-1958 Moved to Columbus, worked as an electrician; after his health failed, moved to St. John's Good Samaritan Center in Kearney Activities: enjoyed hunting, thoroughbred horse racing and playing cards; enjoyed spending time with his family and friends Survivors include his brothers, Calvin of Ansley and Roger of Omaha; sisters, Georgia Fread of Pleasanton and Karen Hostetler of Cairo; sisters-in-law, Barb and Karen Evans, both of Kearney, and Elline Evans of Litchfield; and many nieces and nephews Was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters
