Bio

Billy Carl Sexton, 68, of Gatesville, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Gatesville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kurt Fuessel officiating. The family will receive visitors 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service Tuesday, at the Gatesville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Flint Creek Cemetery. Billy was born in Gatesville, Texas, to the late Richard Elias and Dollie Mae Patterson Sexton, the youngest of eight boys. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Sue Stuteville, on March 30, 1962. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, in April, 2006; and seven brothers. Billy is survived by his son, Duane K. Sexton and wife, Gena Rhudy Sexton; daughter, Janet K. Featherston and husband, Jimmy W. Featherston; granddaughters, KayDee Beth Sexton, Lauren Hope Meharg and Kallie Sue Featherston; and grandson, Jeremy Wyatt Featherston. Waco Tribune-Herald: 12/23/2008...T3
