Bio

H. L. NELSON, FOXHOME Hector L. Nelson, 82, who had been postmaster for many years at Foxhome, passed away September 23 at Fergus Falls. He had been in ill health for some time. Funeral services were held September 27, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with intermnet in St. Otto's Catholic Cemetery in Fergus Falls, (MN). Father Brenny officiated at the services. Hector L. Nelson was born February 2, 1886 at Mason City, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson . He came to the Foxhome vicinity in 1903 where he operated a farm , later moving into Foxhome where he had a general store. At one time he was the editor of the Foxhome Hustler. In 1913 he was married to Margaret, During World War I they moved to Breckenridge (MN) where he worked for the Wilkin County Highway Department.
