Bio
Patsy R. Jones, age 62, of West, passed away early Saturday morning, December 6, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Karasek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Patsy was born in West, Texas, to Ernest and Marie Tobola. She attended West schools. On April 7, 1976, she was united in marriage to Emmett Jones in Waco. Patsy was a homemaker and also worked as a nurse's aide for West Rest Haven for several years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, talking on the phone, watching westerns, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Emmett L. Jones, Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Betty Chudej. Survivors include her husband, Emmett Jones, of West; sons, Brian K. Gerik and wife, Dana, Darrell W. Gerik and wife, Misty, and Billy Jones and wife, Amanda, all of West, Ricky L. Gerik and Maria Ford, and Ernie Gerik and wife, Diane, all of Lacy Lakeview, and Bobby Jones and wife, Samantha, of China Spring; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Tobola, Jr. and wife, Doris and Harry Lee Tobola, all of West; sister, Kathy Lozano and husband, John, of Benbrook; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
