Bio

Abner was the son of George Marion Carroll and Hannah Rilla Walston of Anderson Co., TX. He served as Deputy Sheriff in Anderson County and Railroad clerk. His 1st marriage was to Nancy Trythenia Gilmore. They were the parents of seven children. Their first child, Cornelia, died in 1964, in Mesa Co., CO. Abner and Nancy's marriage ended in divorce. He married 2nd to Ella Blanche (Swigert)McKay of Fresno, CA.
