Obituary for Thomas J. Mann published in the "Dallas Morning News" on May 6, 1919. Page nine. "MANN-T.J. Mann, 68 years old, died yesterday at his home, 4820 East Side avenue. He had been a resident of Dallas twenty-three years. He is survived by his wife and a son, Bert Mann; three brothers, J.C. and Ben F. Mann of Dallas, and James M. Mann of Seattle, and two sisters, Mrs. Lelia Hogan of Marietta, Ok., and Mrs. C. Livingood of Oakwood, Ok. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity. Funeral service will be held at the residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon, the Rev. J. Frank Smith and the Rev. John G. Slayter officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery."
