Obituary for Mary S. Mann published in the "Dallas Morning News" on April 30, 1930. Page two. "Dallas Resident Since 1886 Dies at Her Home - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary S. Mann, 77, a resident of Dallas since 1886, who died Tuesday evening at her home. 4826 East Side avenue, will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. from the Loudermilk-Sparkman Chapel with the Rev. I.J. Kerrick officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Mann was the wife of the late T.J. Mann, a well-known Dallas contractor. She is survived by one son, Bert Mann, and two grandchildren, Margaret Mann and Mrs. N.E. Anderson, all of Dallas, and four brothers and one sister of Missouri."
