Bio

Kalispell Daily Interlake June 17, 1997 Alice Branson was born at Atalissa, Iowa on April 21, 1861. On December 20, 1886 she was united in marriage to James Austin Ross at Villisca, Iowa. To this union were born six children, two of whom, Allen and Arthur, preceded her in death. The family came to the Flathead to make their home 22 years ago. Mr. Ross passed away in January of 1930. Mrs. Ross passed away June 11, 1947 at the age of 86 years. Surviving her are two sons, Earl of Belton, and Ted of Kalispell; two daughters, Cora Plummer of Johnston, Neb and Ruth Dietrich of Idaho Falls, Idaho: two brothers and one sister.
