The Daily Inter Lake Thursday, January 23, 1930 page four LAST RITES FOR JAMES A. ROSS WEDNESDAY The last rites for James Austin Ross were given Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pentecostal church, with Rev. James Broad and Rev. Shackelford conducting the services. The church choir sang two selections and Mrs. James Broad sang an appropriate solo. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Waggener & Campbell. James A. Ross was born at Villisca, Iowa, March 1, 1859, where he lived for 27 years. He later moved to Nebraska, South Dakota, and Colorado, coming a few years ago to Billings. He had resided in Kalispell for four years. For many years he had been a minister, and several years ago, became a member of the Salvation Army. He was married in 1886 to Miss Alice Branson, who survives him, also four sons, two daughters, a sister and several grandchildren.
