Bio

Starkville Daily News 15 July 1996 Jewel Odean Moreland Christopher Services for Jewel Odean Moreland Christopher will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Adaton Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeff James and Rev. Jimmy Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow at Adaton Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will take place today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Mrs. Christopher died Saturday, July 13, 1996, at Oktibbeha County Hospital. She was 74. A native of Calhoun County, Mrs. Christopher was a homemaker and member of Adaton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Fred Christopher of Starkville; a son, Michael Lee Christopher, also of Starkville; and two sisters and two brothers, Eunice Thompson, Lola Vowell, J. Z. Moreland and Jack Moreland, all of Starkville. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
