William Grady "Bill" Spence, 78, passed away Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The son of Nora Fay (Hilburn) and Henry Grady Spence, he was born March 7, 1947, in Eloy, Arizona, the ninth of ten children. Bill attended Hooker High School, graduating with the class of 1965. He was united in marriage to Frances Ilene Smith on May 29, 1969, in Guymon. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandpa and was a faithful member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church, where he was known for his kind heart and warm smile. He rarely missed a Sunday and was a selfless giver. He also enjoyed hunting, target shooting and was an avid OU fan. He was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn and husband, Kevin Strecker; son, Patrick Spence and wife, Lynn; all of Guymon. He was the adoring "Grandpa" to grandsons, Sean Spence and Dawson Strecker. He leaves his wife, Brenda Rhea Spence. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings and beloved wife, Frances Ilene Spence.
