Cloma L Bateman April 16, 1926 – October 14, 2025 IN THE CARE OF Eubank Funeral Home & Haven of Memories Memorial Park Cloma Lou (Moore) Bateman was born April 16, 1926 and went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born in Grannis, Arkansas - she spent her childhood in Olton, Texas. After graduating from Olton High School, she went on to attend business college in Plainview, Texas. She worked through Civil Service during World War II at the military base in Dalhart, Texas. After the war, she went to Dallas, Texas to visit a friend and ended up getting a job with the telephone company and stayed working there. While in Dallas, she met her husband to be and married Wayne Bateman in March of 1949. They shared 63 years together until his death in 2012. She is survived by her daughters: Gayle Bateman of Canton, Texas and Kelli Mitchell of Flint, Texas; And her grandsons: Mark Morris of Canton, Texas and Brian Rawdon of Tyler, Texas. She is preceded in Death by her parents: Eddie Lee and Dovie Lou Moore; Her sister: Rachel who died at age 5 when Cloma was 2; Her younger brothers: Truman, Wayne, and Benny Moore; And her grandson: Matthew Morris.
