Benny Arvil Moore , 88, of Olton, died Wednesday, July 18, 2023, in Plainview, Texas. Private family graveside services will be held under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Born March 5, 1935, in Olton, Texas, Benny was the son of Eddie Lee and Dovie Lou (Watson) Moore. Benny married Geraldine Marshall on May 17, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico. A lifetime Olton resident, Benny worked at Higginbotham Bartlett Lumber Yard for 18 years, Frito Lay for 10 years, the Olton I.S.D. Maintenance staff for 10 years and drove a module truck for the gin for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Geraldine Moore, in 2021, a son, Wayland Arvil Moore, and one brother. Left to cherish his memory are his many loved ones.
