Mabel Crane---Arkansas City Traveler Mabel Crane, 86 formerly of 1018 North F. St. died at 2:55 P.M., Monday in Medicalodge East. Born on Feb 5, 1896 in Iowa, she was the daughter of David and Barbara Wentz Eshelman. She moved with her parents to a farm near Caldwell, Kan. at the age of six. She married Walter A Crane on July 2, 1911, in Corbin, Kan. and they made their home on a farm, west of Caldwell, moving to the Arkansas City area in 1936. He died on Sept 7, 1968. Crane was a member of the Central Christian Church. Survivors include three sons, Everett, Rt. 2, Lyman, Winfield and Earnest, 1118 north F. St., Arkansas City; a brother, Ernie Eshelman, Leon, Kan.: several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mildred Moeller, and one son, Lloyd Crane. Services will be at 10 A. M. Wednesday in the Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home with the Rev. M. E. Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Ashton, Kan. Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. THE ARKANSAS CITY (KAN) TRAVELER, THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 1982 Services for Mabel E. Crane were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Rindt-Erdman-Oldroyd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. M. E. Jenkins officiating. Music was by Merrill Womach, Casketbearers were: Robert Crane, Lloyd Crane, Lee Crane, Roy Crane, Bill Crane and Ervin Richardson.
