Obituary for Henry Ellis Eshelman (Idaho Daily Statesman, Oct. 26, 1958) Henry E. Eshelman NAMPA - Henry Ellis Eshelman, 81, of 907 Tenth avenue north, died Saturday at his home after an extended illness. Born Sept. 27, 1877, in Adair, Iowa, Mr. Eshelman was reared in Iowa and moved to Caldwell, Kan., in 1904, coming here in 1920 where he operated a trucking business. He was married to Viola Price Sept. 2, 1939. His first wife had died in 1938. Survivors, in addition to his wife of Nampa, include four sons, Lawrence of Nampa, Ellis of Kuna, Kenneth of Portland, and David Eshelman, Tulare, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Rouse and Mrs. Walter Baumgartner, both of Nampa; four brothers, Harv of Boise, Ira of Caldwell, Kan., Lee of Blackwell, Okla., and Ernest Eshelman, Leon, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Minta Atkinson, Caldwell, Kan., Mrs. Mabel Crane, Arkansas City, Kan.; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The Alsip chapel will announce services.
