Funeral Home: Neekamp COD Cancer Married to Margaret Jane Maggie DAWSON on Dec 5 1894 in Sebastian Co., AR. He was the son of Joseph John and Arimenta J. (Baldridge) Brogdon. Margaret Jane Dawson was the daughter of Melvin and Sina (Wilkie) Dawson. Their children were: Lee Edward Brogdon, William Elmer Brogdon, Emma Louisa, Myrtle Jane (twins) and Elsie Eller Brogdon. John Monroe Brogdon 75 year old retired farmer passed away Monday at his home 116 E. Jackson Ave. He had resided here for five years and was ill the past three months. Mr. Brogdon was born Sept. 17, 1870 in Wakley Co., TN. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Survivors are a son, Lee Brogdon of McAlester, two daughters, Mrs. Emma Smith of Bartlesville and Mrs. Elsie Robinson Houghton, MI. a son in law, Milton Peterman, Bartlesville, a sister Mrs. Dora Downs, Oklahoma City, also eleven grandchildren. Chaney's are in charge and the time of funeral services which will be held at the Neekamp Funeral Home in Bartlesville is pending the arrival of relatives.
