Bio

Lee Edward Brogdon was born Sept. 20, 1895, Choctaw Nation (Now Pocola, OK.) He died June 27, 1974, Tyler, Smith, Texas at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Craig Funeral Home handled the arrangements. He was a Plumber, and was last married to Nora Elizabeth Taylor (also buried at Saltillo Cem) She was the informant on his death record. His parents were John Monroe Brogdon and Margaret Jane Dawson, and are buried at White Rose Cemetery, Bartlesville, Washington, OK. They had two children, Wanda and Tommy. A son by a previous marriage to first wife, Eliza Chapman Brogdon was Franklin Fitszhugh Brogdon, and two step sons Luther Dechazo and Du Wayne Headley. Lee's second marriage was to Lilly Newman, no list of children from that marriage. Worked as a maintenance engineer at the Aldridge Hotel in McAlester, OK. When WWII started he went to work at the local ammunition plant until after the war. He then worked for a local plumber until his retirement.
