OBITUARY: 7 January 1898, Vermillion Plain Talk, Vermillion, South Dakota Mrs. Wm. Cook, mother of Mrs. Charles Lawson, died in Hawarden last Monday morning. Deceased was 59 years old, and leaves four children to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held in the Baptist church in this city Wednesday afternoon. The bereaved husband and children have the sympathy of the entire community.
