Joan Alice Loeffler, 84 yrs, of Fremont, NE, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Methodist Fremont Health. Joan was born January 26, 1941, in Morse Bluff, NE, to Ernest and Alice (Franta) Ladenburger. She graduated from Prague High School in 1958. On July 24, 1962, Joan married Kenny Loeffler at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2018. Joan worked as a hairdresser for Arbor Manor nursing home for 50 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont, and Eagles Auxiliary in Fremont. She loved July the 4th holiday gatherings. S he enjoyed fishing and playing cards with her family and grandsons. She was known as the garage sale queen. She is survived by her son, Michael (Christine) Loeffler of North Bend; daughter, Terri Chaney of Fremont; brothers, Gary, Bob, and Dan; sisters, Loretta, Jan, and Betty; and two grandsons, Tony and Dylan Chaney. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenny; sister, Dorothy Parr; nephew, David Loeffler and niece, Tiffany Ladenburger. The Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
