Adeline Marie Ott Kasper, 74, of El Campo, passed away November 30, 2024. She was born on June 30, 1950 in El Campo to the late Martha and Frankey Ott. She attended St. Philip's Catholic School and was a graduate of El Campo High School in 1968. Adeline worked as Administrative Secretary for the Texas Rehabilitation Commission for 41 years before retiring. Adeline enjoyed spending time with her three cherished granddaughters who called her Grammy. Grammy could be found at every event that her granddaughters participated in. She loved to attend the girls cheer competitions, her favorite being the Cheer Power Nationals in San Antonio. Adeline loved to take pictures of everything no matter the event and has many albums of pictures at home. At every family event, a family picture was taken before eating. She loved to travel the world through books. She had a passion for reading and could often be found reading two books at a time. Adeline was a club manager of the Hillje-Louise 4-H for many years and raised all three of her children in 4-H. She also watched her three granddaughters raise animal projects through 4-H and FFA. She loved to hear stories of the girls' projects and how they were doing with them. Most of all, Adeline was a faithful servant of the Lord as a member of St. Philip's Catholic Church. Through all of the years, Adeline's faith in the Lord never wavered and she shared God's goodness with everyone who crossed her path. On August 8, 1970, Adeline married the love of her life Daniel Kasper. Adeline and Daniel were married for 54 years; during this time, they had three wonderful children and three granddaughters. Adeline is survived by her husband Daniel Kasper; daughters, Denise Dorotik and husband Brian and Sara Weathers and husband Jeremy; son, Michael Kasper; granddaughters, Brianna Dorotik, Bridget Dorotik and Hannah Weathers; siblings, Karen Jedlicka and husband Jimmie, Debbie Long and husband Boyed, Anthony Ott, Daniel Ott and wife Ann, Stanley Ott and wife Carrie and numerous nieces and nephews. A special word of thanks to our caregiver, Kathy Bassinet. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eugene Ott. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3 at Triska Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 4 at St. Philip Catholic Church with the Rev. Collins Yaw Twum officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park in El Campo. Pallbearers will be Keith Jedlicka, Randy Jedlicka, Rodney Jedlicka, Chad Ott, A.J. Ott, Stephen Long and Clayton Ott. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and brothers-in-law. Memorial donations may be made to ECISD Life Skills (checks payable to ECISD, memo "Life Skills") or St. Philip School in her honor.
