Bio

Thomas P. Schultz, 79, St. Joseph, died Saturday, March 26, 1994, at a local hospital. Mr. Schultz was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph. He was a graduate of the former Christian Brothers High School. For 32 years, Mr. Schultz was employed as a blue print expeditor at St. Joseph Structural Steel, retiring in 1977. He was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the MacDonald- Dugger-Duncan American Legion Post No. 359. Mr. Schultz also was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Andrew Schultz; and a sister, Elizabeth Climax. Surviving: his wife, Mary, of the home; three sons, Michael T. of St. Joseph, Chris Patrick of Warrensburg, Mo., and Mark, Staff Sgt. at Tinker Air Force Base at Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Pottorff of Helena, Mo.; two brothers, Nick and George Schultz, both of St. Joseph; a sister, Ann Sive of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two grandchildren. Mr. Schultz has been cremated. Graveside service and Inurnment: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements: Heaton- Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph.
