Nicholas "Nick" J. Schultz, 87, St. Joseph, died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, at a local health-care center Mr. Schultz had owned Schultz Electric for 44 years, retiring in 1976. Born in Yugoslavia, he came to St. Joseph in 1907. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School. Mr. Schultz was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council No. 571, of which he held 3rd and 4th-degree ranks. In 1934, he married Dorothy Haas. She survives of the home. Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by three brothers, Andrew, Johnny and Thomas; and a sister, Elizabeth Climax. Additional survivors: two sons, Roger and Larry. St. Joseph; a brother, George, St. Joseph; a sister, Anna Sive, Fort Wayne, Ind.; nine grandchildren; a step grandchild; and 14 great-grandchildren. Private family memorial Mass and Inurnment: at Horigan Chapel in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation. Arrangements: Heaton Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel
