Mrs. Rosa Schultz, 83 years old, died Friday afternoon at a local hospital. Her home was at 118, Massachuetts Avenue. Born in Austria, Mrs. Schultz came to St. Joseph in 1909. She was the widow of John Schultz. Survivors include five sons, all of St. Joseph: Andrew Schultz, Nicholas Schultz, John Schultz, Thomas Schultz and George Schultz, Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Sive, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Mrs. Elizabeth Climax, of the home. There are 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren surviving. Mrs. Schultz was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the Altar Society of St. James; and the German Beneficial Lodge. The body is at the Rupp mortuary where the St. James Altar Society rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Sunday. The parish rosary will be recited at the mortuary chapel at 8 p.m. Sunday. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Church. Monsignor John Moriarty will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
