Bio

Prague, Oklahoma 1943 JOSEPH DOSTAL JR., a long-time pioneer citizen of Prague, died at his home west of town Monday, May 10, 1943 following a month's serious illness. Mr. Dostal was born in Spillville, Iowa February 14, 1866 to Joseph and Anna (Cihacek) Dostal. Mr. Dostal, the oldest of 11 children was age 77 years 2 months and 26 days old when he died. In 1890 Mr. Dostal married Frances Rezac. They lived here for 40 years and raised six children. Louis, Joe and Otto live in Prague; three daughters: Mrs. Elsie (Charles) Tomanka of Canton; Mrs. Clara Upton of Enid; and Mrs. Anna (Rudolf) Pliva of Prague. Two brothers and four sisters reside in Nebraska
