Aged 34 years. Listed as Jane, 1 yr old in the Oct. 29, 1850 Antiock, Lake, IL., census. Mrs. Charles Phillips, resident of Section 10, Pleasant Valley township, Hand county. Born in Illinois, both parents born in NY state. Jennie married Charles H. Phillips in Clinton county, IA on Dec. 24, 1868. Four children were born to this union: Edwin, Myrtle, Daniel, and Rose. Jennie died of typhoid fever at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Emma and John Mace in Ohio township, Hand county. Jennie had lived in Hand county 6 months at the time of her death. Funeral services were held Oct. 3, 1884 from the Mace home. Emma (King) Mace findagrave.com # 79956133 Emma's death record lists the parents names as Daniel and Mary (Johnson) King. Emma and Jennie had an elder sister, Mary Ann King, married to Thomas Prickard.
