Bio

Leona J. Saulsbury, 75, Sequim, Washington, died April 27, 1996 at Port Angeles, Washington. She was born August 20, 1920 at Overton to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Wengler) Thinnes. Leona married Dallas McDonald who was killed in action in WWII in 1945. She then married Keith Saulsbury in February of 1948 at Elm Creek. They spent most of their married life in Southern California, retiring in 1982 and moving to Sequim, Washington. She was active in the Ladies Club of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Ladies of the Elks. She was preceded in death by per parents, her first husband, brother, Nickie, in infancy and Matthew; sisters, Anna Guntrorad, Mary Bresel and Katherine Walker.
