Keith Saulsbury, 78, of Sequim., Wash, formerly of Lexington, Neb., died of complications from a stroke Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Eisenhower Memorial Hospital in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Services were March 11 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sequim. Sequim Valley Funeral Home in Sequim was in charge of arrangements. He was born Feb. 8, 1926, in Lexington, to William and Lucille (Morgan) Saulsbury. In 1948, he married Leona Thinnes in Elm Creek. She died in 1996. On Nov. 30, 1996, he married Nadia Caldwell in Sequim. He graduated from Lexington High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a supervisor for the Los Angeles Water & Power Co. until his retirement in 1982, when he moved to Sequim. He was a snowbird who enjoyed playing golf year-round in Sequim and Indio, Calif. He enjoyed traveling, dancing and the company of friends. He was a member of Sundland Golf & Country Club, Sequim Elks, Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to repair anything. In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard.
