Lillie Zapalac of Angleton passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at the age of 75. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton with Father Robert J. Duggan as celebrant. Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and a Rosary and Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Lillie was born in Damon on March 28, 1929, to Louis and Mary Dirba Prihoda. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, KJZT and Legion of Mary. She also worked as a dietitian for Angleton Danbury Medical Center. Her parents; son, Robert Joe "Bobby" Zapalac; sister, Frances Sykowski; and brothers, Rudolph and Robert Prihoda, preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Albert Zapalac; sons, Albert John Zapalac of Angleton, Father David J. Zapalac, CSB, of Missouri City, Gregory R. Zapalac of Angleton; brothers, Louis Prihoda and Albert Prihoda, both of Damon; sisters, Leona Zapalac and Emma Horky of Angleton, Helen Syzdek and Mary Zapalac, both of Damon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Zapalac, Andrew Ondreas, Lewis John Zapalac, LaVaughn "Bubba" Hamilton, Billy Horky and Leon Horky. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Horky and Jeff Horky.
