The Georgia Enterprise, December 1, 1899 Mr. S. B. Ellington Dead On Friday morning last, news was received in the city that Mr. S. B. Ellington had been found dead near San Francisco California. The news came by wire to the dead man's brother, Mr. S. R. Ellington, and was sent by the coroner Date on Grave marker is incorrect! Marriage Notes for ELLEN DENNARD and STEPHEN ELLINGTON: The Georgia Enterprise ELLEN J. ELLINGTON Vs. S. B. ELLINGTON Libel for Divorce, In Newton Superior Court, March Term, 1899 It appearing to the Court, by the return of the Sheriff, in the above stated case, that the defendant does not reside in said county; and it further being shown that he does not reside in this state, but does reside in the state of California. It is, therefore ordered by the Court, that service be perfected on the defendant by publication, as required by law, twice a month for two (2) months before the next term of this Court. In the Covington Star a weekly newspaper published in the County of Newton, and state of Georgia; and that copies of said newspaper be mailed by Clerk of Superior Court to the defendant of Tulare, California.
