Bio
Joel was alive on December 13th 1916 when my great grandfather Sidney Ross Ellington died because he is listed in the obituary but he is not listed as a survivor in his brother William Archibald Ellington's obituary March 11th 1918 nor is he anywhere to be found on the 1920 Census! He is listed in my Grandfathers Grover Cleveland Ellington's ledger March 12th 1917 where he was paid $3.90 for hoeing cotton! This is NOT Joseph Emerson Brown Ellington they are 2 separate people! Joel B's Father Joel and Joseph's Father James were 1st cousins!
