Bio
Margaret S. Hansen, 96, passed away April 13, 2008 in American Fork, UT. Margaret was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah on February 14, 1912 to William and Rhoda Robison Stagg. Her childhood was spent in Pleasant Grove. After high school graduation she attended the University of Utah and in 1934 received her bachelors degree in education. She taught physical education in Tooele. After moving to American Fork, she continued her teaching career as a 6th grade teacher at Harrington Elementary. Later she became the librarian at American Fork Junior High. Margaret eloped with Harvey Hansen in 1938 and in 1981 their marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple. He preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by a son, Thomas Hansen and daughter, Robin Bailey, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two sisters, Beth Parker and Nell-Louise Williams. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
