Percy Murriel Harris, 81, of Athens died Friday at 1:53 am in a Corsicana hospital followinf an extended illness. Born in Abilene, Mr. Harris had lived in Henderson County most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Hassell and Foster Chapel with Dr. Ralph Phelps officiating.Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Beulah May Harris of Athens; one son R C Harris of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Holloway of Malakoff and Mrs. Claudia Murriel Morgan of Garden Grove, Calif.,; two brothers, Perry Harris of Athens and Jimmy C. Harris of Mabank; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
