Funeral services for Mrs. Floy Slagle, 21, wife of Elbert Slagle of Athens, whose death occurred at Baylor Hospital in Dallas on Wednesday morning, were held at the Davis Cemetery near Athens, at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Rev. D R Cartlidge, Baptist minister, conducted the services. Mrs. Slagle is survived by her husband and a daughter, born Aug. 23. She was a daughter of Percy Harris of near Athens.
