Bio

Funeral services for Frank Harris, 30, who was was killed Friday morning when he was run over by a passenger train at Kemp, were held at the Church of Christ at Kemp Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. Emerson, officiating. A short service was held at the grave, with burial following in the Davis cemetery. The Hassell and Foster Funeral Home of Palestine was in charge of arrangements. Mr.Harris was born in Henderson county in 1913 and was employed in Dallas at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Floy Jean and Reta Fay; one son, Robert Earl Harris; his father P.M. Harris of Athens route 2; and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline cook of Waco and Mrs. Claudie Morgan of California. Published in the Athens Review March 23, 1944
