Mary Lucretia Tarpley Lovelace was a daughter of Joseph Bell Tarpley and Georgeanna Hull Lake Lake Newton Tarpley. Joseph Bell and Georgeanna both have Memorial Pages at this Elmwood Cemetery. Please see those pages for more about this family. Mary Lucretia married James Alexander Henderson Monroe Lovelace, on 30 Nov 1869, in Prosper, Collin County, TX. They had six known children: Charles Edward (1870), Ella Roberta (1872), Beulah Edna (1875), Anna May (1877), Benjamin Monroe(1879), and Frances Belle (1882). Her husband, James Alexander Henderson Monroe Lovelace, is buried in Murphy City Cemetery, Collin County, Texas. I think this is east of Plano and along SR2551. Plano may have grown our around this cemetery by now.
