Mary Ella was born February 26, 1947, in Ennis, Texas to Joseph Rudolph and Christine (Salik) Macalik. Following God's call to nurture, she was a loving, dedicated mother and Grandmommy. Her daughter and grandchildren were her life's joy. She worked almost three decades in the insurance industry and retired in April of 2012. Throughout her life she always thought of others first and sacrificed much. She enjoyed birdwatching, crafting of all kinds, and leisurely drives in the country. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Josephine, her brothers, Joe Ben, Daniel, and Anthony and his wife JoAnne.
