Bio

Mrs. Dorothy M. Tomlinson, 78, Randolph Street, Somerset, died Friday, October 9, 1992, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Somerset on February 2, 1914, daughter of the late George R. and Mary Alexander Tomlinson. She was a homemaker, and a member of Clay Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Ronald E. Tomlinson of Amarillo, Texas and George A., Kenny H., and Eddie Tomlinson, all of Somerset; three sisters, Martha Hughes and Roberta Ping, both of Somerset, and Jesse Tomlinson; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew Tomlinson, whom she married on November 9, 1945 in Covington, Kentucky; two brothers, Oscar and William Tomlinson; and two sisters, Myrtle Richardson and Emma Tomlinson. Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Clay Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Warren Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Clay Hill Cemetery.
