Omaha World-Herald , December 8, 1994, p. 18, col. 1 & 2 Deaths and Funerals DAUGHTON – Frances Besch Ristau, age 79 yrs., died 12-2-1994 in LaJolla, CA. Mrs. Daughton, a long time resident of Omaha, NE, was born and raised in Fullerton, NE. After graduating from high school in Columbus, NE she raised her children in Omaha and, except for spending the winters in La Jolla, CA each year, she continued to maintain her home in Omaha until her death. Survived by her husband of 13 yrs., Maurice Daughton, whom she married after the death of her first husband, Col. Kenneth Eugene Ristau. In addition to her husband, Maurice, Mrs. Daughton is survived by her son, Kenneth Eugene Ristau, Jr., a graduate of North High and an attorney in Newport Beach, CA; her daughter Michele Ann Eoff, a graduate of Westside High currently residing in Anaheim, CA; her daughter, Susan Kristine Bailey, a graduate of Westside High currently residing in Los Angeles, CA; her step-sons, David Daughton, Omaha, James Michael Daughton formerly of Omaha now living in Minneapolis, MN, Steve Daughton, Milwaukee, Wi and Mary Daughton Jackson of Creston, IA. She is also survived by two sons-in-law, four daughters-in-law, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In recent years, Mrs. Daughton, with her husband Maurice, was an avid duplicate bridge player. A MEMORIAL SERVICE is scheduled for 10 am Mon., Dec. 12 at Saint Gerald's Catholic Church, Omaha. The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Assoc. in the name of Mrs. Daughton.
