CALDWELL — Requiem Mass for Louis J. Besch, 69, Route 8, Caldwell, who died Monday in a Caldwell hospital, will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Fr. Nicolas Walsh. Interment will be at Hillcrest. The Rosary will be recited at FlahIff Funeral Chapel at 8 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Besch was born Sept. 22, 1904, at Cedar Rapids, Neb., and moved to Fullerton, Neb., with his parents when he was six. He married Victoria M. Cooper Dec. 31, 1929, in Grand Island, Neb., and they formed at Fullerton. They moved to Central City, Neb., in 1938, and came to the Nampa area in 1947. He worked for the Pacific Fruit Express Co. at the Nampa shops for a time, and farmed near Nampa from 1950 until 1971. The couple moved to Caldwell in 1959, although he continued to farm near Nampa. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Besch are two daughters, Mrs Ellen Griffin of Nampa and Mrs. Mary Arnell of Logan, Utah; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Delaney of Fullerton, Mrs. Anna Snell of Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Frances Spalding of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
