Margaret Olive Burch was the daughter of William Burch and Susan Storm. Her parents had eleven children (7 who survived infancy). Burch 1880–1880 Margaret married Willis Isaac Mitchell on Sept 5 1897. She was 22. He was 21. Willis was a farm laborer with no property of his own. Margaret and Isaac had eight children: Thomas Daley 1898 – 1900 Hassell William 1901 – 1968 Cleva Cresson 1905 – 1968 Ralph Emmet 1907 – 1985 Iris Louella (Ison) 1908 – 1974 Willis Alva 1912 – 1953 Emma Elmira (May) 1914 – 1973 Forrest Preston 1917 – 1972 Maggie lived most of her life in Monroe County Indiana. She died of stomach cancer on Feb 20 1929, at the age of 53.
