Of Gloster, Miss., on Sunday, June 17, 1951, at 1:30 o'clock p.m., at the Beacham Memorial hospital, Magnolia, Miss., CHARLIE ADAMS, husband of Allie Martin; father of Edgar C. Adams, Mrs. Lewis Kelly of Baton Rouge, La., Jesse L. Adams of Gloster, Miss., and Thomas J. Adams, New Orleans, La., also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; aged 86 years, a native of Amite county, Mississippi. The funeral will take place on Monday, June 18, 1951, at 3 o'clock p.m., from the Galilee Baptist Church, Gloster, Miss. Interment in Roselawn [ sic Roseland] cemetery, Gloster, Miss. Brown funeral home in charge. Published in The Times-Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Monday, June 18, 1951
