Died at 1:35 p.m. yesterday at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 65 and resided at 3423 Canonnicus St. A native of Amite County, Miss., he had lived in Baton Rouge 15 years. Was a member of the Baptist Church. Survived by one son, Charles R. Adams, Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. V. Watts, Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Lewis Kelly, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Jesse Adams, Gloster, Miss., and T. A. Adams, New Orleans; four grandchildren. Body to be taken overland from Hollobaugh-Seale Funeral Home to Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, where services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, the Rev. R. J. McCool officiating.
