Decatur Herald & Review 3/22/1947 Mrs.Lucille Ray, 225 E.Orchard street, died at 1:20 am Friday in St. Marys hospital where she had been confined for five weeks. She was born May 2, 1903 in Maroa,a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Legge and was married to Lafayette Ray, Oct. 2, 1920 in Decatur.She was a member of the Free Methodist Sunday school here. She leaves her husband and mother,Mrs.Bessie Burns of Decatur and five children, Richard,Torrence,Calif. Russell,Walter, Marilyn and Betty of Decatur. She also leaves three brothers,Wayne, Chicago,Elmer in the marines,Clarence Defrains? and a sister,Mrs.Dora Tuakanovch of Chicago. Funeral services will be at 1:30 Tuesday in the Moran & Sons chapel with burial in Maroa cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 am Sunday.
