Russell C. Ray, 92, of Decatur passed on Monday, October 24, 2016 in his home. Russell was born on November 3, 1923 in Maroa, Illinois, the son of Lafayette B. and Lucile (Legge) Ray. He married E. Arlene Browning on May 7, 1972 in Decatur, Illinois. Surviving are his wife, Arlene; brother, Richard Ray; sister, Marilyn Jargon; one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walter Ray and sister, Betty Kerr. He was retired from Chumbley Cleaners. He was a Christian for over 50 years serving in several local churches.
