John Charles Arnold Monday, January 21, 2008 Roscoe, Texas - John Charles Arnold, age 71, of Roscoe, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2008, at a Sweetwater Health Care. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Roscoe with burial in the Roscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Caleb Teeters officiating and under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Roscoe, Texas. A family visitation will be held from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008, at the McCoy Funeral Home in Roscoe. Pallbearers will be: Dickie Summers, Charles Summers, Mike Teaff, Ken Teaff, Rick Chapman and Doyle Edmiston. Mr. Arnold was born on December 14, 1936, in Lubbock, Texas. He never married. He had lived in the community all his life. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lee Rhodes Arnold and Palma Ruth Younse Arnold; twin sister, Carolyn Marie Arnold; and a niece, Deborah Ann Teaff McIntire. Mr. Arnold is survived by: his sisters, Ann Teaff of Roscoe, Texas, Bonnie Summers and husband, Charles of Roscoe, Texas and Cleo Parrott also of Roscoe, Texas; a brother, J. C. Arnold and wife, Joy of Amarillo, Texas; 7 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; extended family - Residents and Staff of Sweetwater Health Care.
