Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Daily Eagle, 7 January 1954 William Garner Dies Today Funeral Services fro William M. Garner, 69, were to be held today at 3 o'clock uner the direction of McDonald Funeral Home at the Steep Hollow church with the pastor , the Rev. Sam Martin, officiating. Interment will be made in the Steep Hollow cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Brittian Risinger, Martin Raliegh [sic], Harlin Bullock, W. W. Humphries, Sam Bullock and George Lepley. Mr. Garner, a retired farmer, passed away this morning at an early hour at Bryan Convalescent Home. He was born in Brazos county, March 30, 1884. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Della Bullock, Mrs. Eva Dehart and Miss Cora Garner all of Bryan; three sons, Lamar, Altus and D. R. Garner all of Bryan, and seven grandchildren.
