Transcription of Obituary from The Bryan Eagle, Sunday, 6 Feb 1972 Miss Garner Funeral services for Miss Cora Garner, 80, of Sherwood Nursing Home will be held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Bryan under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home. Miss Garner died Friday afternoon in local hospital. Adrian Griffin of First Baptist Church will officiate at the services and burial will be in Steep Hollow Cemetery. Miss Garner was a lifetime resident of Brazos County and a member of the First Baptist Church and the Naomi Sunday School Class. Survivors include four nephews, Lamar Garner, Altus Garner and Louis Bullock, all of Bryan, and Duward Garner of Buna, and five niece, Mrs. Ruth Carson, Mrs. Gladys Boring and Mrs. Margie Goodman, all of Houston, Mrs. Erma McWhorter of North Zulch and Mrs. JoAnn Williamson of Kurten. Pallbearers are Gene Nolan, Leon Williamson, Bill Bullock, Kenneth Garner, David Garner, Edward Adam and honorary pallbearer A. T. Ball.
